I know my plants, and love creating beautiful combinations of perennials, grasses, shrubs and trees which really work, suit their environment, give all year round interest, and don’t just look good on paper. I especially enjoy working with large scale plantings of ornamental grasses and perennials; areas of shade; and more traditional cottage style settings.
I offer detailed Planting Plans, which show the positions, sizes, full botanic names and varieties of all plants to be included in a Garden Design. An A1/A2 sized Planting Plan is usually produced as a supplement to a Garden Design, but can also be commissioned separately, and at a smaller size, for individual borders, beds, ponds and wetland areas, meadows or any other area of your garden. Please contact me for a quotation.
Should you simply want a Plant List of suitable plants for different areas of your garden, I can provide these via email. On average, a Plant List takes from 2-4 hours, depending on the size of the area.
Planting and Sourcing
Should you wish, I can source and purchase plants for your garden from reputable suppliers, and if required, place them in position for you to plant. I can also carry out planting for you.
To help you avoid making costly mistakes with unsuitable plants, I can also arrange to meet with you at a garden centre or nursery to help with plant selection.
Fees: charged on an hourly basis, based on my standard hourly rate (please contact me for details).
